Commissioned as a wedding present for a pair of mountain lovers, one of my favorite things about this tray is how the mountains wrap around the entire tray and nearly cover the dovetails in the corners. The top and bottom lips of the tray frame the depth of the composition, and the corner pieces protect the thin walnut mountains from getting damaged under frequent use.
