This wall mounted corner cabinet measures 10" deep, 16" wide, and 22" tall. It is primarily cherry with pine as the secondary wood (for the back). We invited fellow designer/craftsman Tom Cahalan into the shop in order for him to co-design this corner cabinet with us. While we did end up deviating a bit from the original design, I feel as if we still were true to the original intent. Well, it is a cabinet, and it hangs in a corner.

Here is the 3/4 view of the cabinet. This is a very subtle piece. I like the gentle taper of the top and bottom as they get thinner towards the sides. It gives the piece a nice tension and draws the eye to the middle where the carved pulls sit.

As you can see, this isn't a large piece, but it is sufficient to hold small treasures. Instead of the one horizontal shelf it could be built as small corner jewelry cabinet or perhaps a small spice cabinet. If I were to put it in my home I would place it by the front door as a place to hold my keys, wallet, and phone. It can also store your extra unwanted guinea pigs, which is how we are currently using it. (Guinea Pigs for scale)

A close up of the pull. These pulls are my favorite element of the piece. We carved most of the pull into the panel of the door and also carved a slight recess into a portion of the frame. We have struggled with pulls in our furniture. They often seem so "stuck on" and poorly integrated. By carving into the piece, as opposed to sticking a pull on, I feel we have kept true to the quiet, somber, almost religious tone of the piece.
